On July 5, 2019, New-Rule, in conjunction with PartnersGlobal and Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN), completed the first phase of their training of Transparency and Accountability Practitioners (TAPs) in Nigeria. Professionals from three target states, Adamawa, Ebonyi, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), undertook the intensive, 40-hour Knowledge Building Component (KBC) training, which introduced them to the different dimensions of corruptions, tools to fight corruption, and case studies from other countries. This knowledge was reinforced through a series of practical exercises designed to illustrate challenges and approaches that are relevant to governance reform. This KBC training is part of the New-Rule and PartnersGlobal anti-corruption methodology, Facilitating Accountability, Integrity, and Resilience (FAIR).
