Gail Ervin is Principal of the Ervin Consulting Group, and Co-Team Leader for the Mediators Beyond Borders Kenya Initiative. Dr. Ervin has over 30 years of experience in environmental planning, environmental and public policy mediation, and community capacity building, and has been involved in conflict resolution capacity building efforts on five continents. She is past Chair of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) International Section, past U.S. Representative to the World Mediation Forum Steering Committee, and is a Rotary Peace Fellow. She earned a Ph.D. in Human Science/International Peace and Conflict Resolution from Saybrook University, and holds Certificates in Peace and Conflict Resolution from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and Saybrook University, USA. This professional experience uniquely complemented by her active civic involvement provides a thorough understanding of public policy analysis, public dispute resolution, project management, public outreach, and development issues from multiple perspectives.
